How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    This role is office-based, 5 days a week in our Chester Operations Centre, operating Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17.00.


    Job Overview – Service Delivery Coordinator


    You will play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of operational activities. You will assist the Service Delivery Team and wider business by handling administrative tasks, creating and scheduling jobs within internal systems, preparing documentation such as RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), and ensuring the accuracy of operational records.


    This role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to delivering an exceptional service to our customers by maintaining operational accuracy and supporting the wider team in meeting business objectives.


    Key Responsibilities and Duties


    • Create and update job records within the field management/scheduling software, ensuring all details are accurate and complete.
    • Support in scheduling internal engineers and subcontractors diaries by preparing job information ahead of engineer allocation.
    • Assist the on call team with emergency callouts by gathering essential information and logging details into the system promptly.
    • Prepare, issue, and maintain RAMS, ensuring documents are accurate, up to date, and aligned with company standards.
    • Organise, file, and maintain all service-related documentation, certificates, reports, and customer records.
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Service Delivery Manager and wider operations team.
    • Assist with parts ordering workflows where required, ensuring correct information is captured.
    • Respond to general administrative queries from customers, engineers, and suppliers.
    • Maintain internal trackers, spreadsheets, and logs to support operational reporting.
    • Communicate professionally with customers and suppliers to confirm job details, request missing information, and support operational planning.
    • Ensure customers receive accurate and timely updates regarding documentation or job-related queries.
    • Support the continuous improvement of administrative processes to help increase operational efficiency.
    • Take responsibility for ensuring your work meets the highest quality standards and supports team objectives.
    • Work confidently and positively across departments, contributing to a collaborative working environment.


    Person Specification

    Criteria - Education, Qualifications & Experience


    • Good level of general education
    • Previous planning and coordinating experience within a fast-paced environment
    • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and Word)
    • Have an excellent standard of communication, both written and verbal
    • Be able to plan and organise workload
    • The ability to solve problems
    • Be able to learn quickly and show a genuine interest in the business
    • Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
    • Shows self-motivation and initiative
    • Is positive and enthusiastic
