How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    • Handling challenging conversations with confidence, empathy and professionalism.
    • Updating customer records and maintaining accurate information.
    • Using Microsoft Excel to download, manage and send information to customers.
    • Working closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
    • Prioritising workload effectively in a busy environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

We're looking for someone who has:

    • A positive, approachable personality and enjoys speaking with customers.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Confidence when handling customer queries, including more challenging conversations.
    • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
    • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.
    • A willingness to learn new systems, including Salesforce.
    • A proactive attitude with a desire to develop and grow within the business
    • Previous customer service experience is beneficial, if you have the right attitude and a genuine passion for helping customers, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
