How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking an Aftersales Buyer to join our Parts & Accessories Purchasing team. you will be responsible for sourcing a range of commodity groups across a global supplier base, while collaborating closely with Triumph facilities worldwide to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to supply chain management. Supporting the ongoing success of Triumph Genuine Parts and Accessories, you will play a key role in maintaining stock availability, optimising inventory levels, and ensuring continuity of supply to meet customer demand and deliver an exceptional ownership experience.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities include:

    * Liaise with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and secure best value for Triumph Genuine Parts and Accessories.

    * Manage material requirements planning, including purchase order scheduling and delivery expediting.

    * Support parts supply requirements for both current and legacy Triumph models.

    * Support the development and introduction of new Accessories products with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

    * Build and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and service delivery

    * Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations and process improvements

    * Utilise purchasing systems and reporting tools to produce accurate data and reports.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    * Degree educated, achieving a 2:1 classification or above.

    * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

    * Highly self-motivated, customer-focused, and an effective communicator.

    * Previous sourcing, negotiation, or supplier relationship management experience would be advantageous.

    * Basic understanding of engineering principles and low-volume manufacturing methods would be beneficial.

    Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 39hrs per week.
