How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: Pricing Analyst
    Hybrid 3 day office based
      
    Job Summary
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Pricing Analyst to support the development and execution of pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning. The successful candidate will analyse market trends, customer behaviour, sales performance, and pricing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that support business objectives.
      
    Key Responsibilities

    Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
    Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, sales performance, and competitor activity to identify pricing opportunities.
    Deliver pricing recommendations that optimise revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.
    Support tactical pricing initiatives, promotional activities, and customer pricing programmes.
    Gather, validate, and analyse competitor pricing information while ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
    Produce insightful reports, dashboards, and data analysis to support commercial decision-making.
    Communicate pricing updates, policy changes, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
    Contribute to the continuous improvement of pricing processes, analytical tools, and reporting capabilities.
    Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational initiatives.
    Maintain high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.   
    Skills and Experience

    Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate complex data into practical business recommendations.
    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with large and complex datasets.
    Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
    Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    Degree or professional qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
    Previous experience in a Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Revenue Analyst, or similar analytical role.
    Experience using business intelligence and data visualisation tools
    Experience interpreting commercial data to support pricing and business decisions
