How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join a high-profile engineering programme, helping to build, operate, and continuously improve a secure cloud-native DevSecOps platform.

You'll play a key role in delivering secure, automated software delivery pipelines, managing Kubernetes environments, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Working closely with architecture, software engineering, cloud, and cybersecurity teams, you'll help drive automation, platform reliability, and secure application delivery across complex enterprise environments.

    Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain DevSecOps solutions aligned with approved architectures and engineering standards.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, testing, security validation, and deployment.
Deploy, manage, and optimise Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads across multiple environments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation technologies.
Configure deployment automation, release management, and GitOps workflows.
Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, including code analysis, container scanning, dependency scanning, and compliance validation.
Support monitoring, logging, observability, and overall platform health.
Troubleshoot deployment issues and continually improve pipeline performance and reliability.
Collaborate with software engineering, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.
Support platform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Skills & Experience

    Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
Proven experience implementing DevOps or DevSecOps solutions within enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms (including OpenShift and/or Kubernetes).
Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
Linux administration experience with scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Experience with Docker and container-based application deployment.
Good understanding of Git version control and GitOps methodologies.
Experience working with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-native security best practices and container security.
Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.

    Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to work on a technically challenging programme delivering modern cloud-native infrastructure and secure software delivery capabilities. You'll join a collaborative engineering team where automation, security, and continuous improvement are at the heart of the delivery approach.

If you're an SC-cleared DevSecOps Engineer looking for your next contract, we'd like to hear from you.
