How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced organisation in the manufacturing industry based in Turriff. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing HR support and guidance across various functions within the organisation.

    Description

    Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR support and employee queries.
    Partner with site leadership to drive productivity, people initiatives, and HR KPI delivery.
    Support and coach managers on HR policies, procedures, and people processes, including absence management.
    Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and legislation.
    Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with best practice and legal requirements.
    Assist with HR projects, initiatives, and management development programmes to support the wider people plan.
    Promote company values and support the successful delivery of HR priorities across the site.
    Identify and escalate HR risks where appropriate.
    Travel across UK sites as required.

    Profile

    A successful HR Advisor should have:

    Essential:

    Previous experience of working in a HR role within a manufacturing environment.
    Good understanding of UK employment law and experience managing ER cases.
    Self-motivated to prioritise and manage own workload
    Ability to prioritise own workload in a fast -paced environment
    Ability to interact at all levels of the business
    Full driving license (requirement for UK travel)Desired:
