The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out installations, servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer sites across the UK. Working closely with customers and the wider service team, you'll ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently while delivering a first-class service experience.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs.

Install, commission and test equipment at customer sites.
*
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.
*
Complete service reports and job documentation accurately and on time.
*
Provide technical support and advice to customers during service visits.
*
Ensure high standards of health & safety and compliance while working on-site.
*
Liaise with the Service Coordinator to manage workloads and customer expectations.
*
Support commissioning, warranty work and continuous improvement initiatives where required.
*
Represent the business professionally, building strong customer relationships at every visit.
About You
To be successful, you'll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer within an engineering or industrial environment.
*
Strong mechanical skills with electrical fault-finding experience highly desirable.
*
Experience installing, servicing and maintaining industrial machinery or equipment.
*
The ability to diagnose faults quickly and work independently in the field.
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*
A flexible approach with a willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required.
*
Good IT skills and the ability to complete digital service reports.
*
A full UK driving licence.
