The Opportunity
TXM Recruit is partnering with a global engineering leader to recruit an Assistant Project Manager for their growing Northampton team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious project professional looking to develop their career within a world-class engineering business. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, supporting the delivery of exciting engineering projects from concept through to completion.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support project planning, budgets and delivery schedules.
Help manage project costs, resources and programme timelines.
Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
Prepare project reports, documentation and procurement schedules.
Support client communications and contract administration.
Monitor project performance against budgets and objectives.
Assist with project risk management and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
3+ years' experience within an engineering or technical project environment.
Experience using Microsoft Project, Excel and SharePoint.
Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A proactive individual looking to progress into a Project Manager role.
