How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact, shaping the retail presence and consumer engagement for beloved entertainment titles across the vibrant Spanish market. You will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns that not only maximize brand visibility and commercial performance but also deeply resonate with consumers, driving excitement and loyalty.

    About the Role

Join a forward-thinking team dedicated to connecting audiences with their favorite stories through compelling consumer products. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the Spanish retail landscape to craft and implement impactful marketing strategies. You will be at the forefront of driving consumer engagement and sales, collaborating with a diverse range of partners to create memorable campaigns that connect with audiences and deliver tangible results, directly contributing to the success and reach of popular entertainment properties.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop and execute comprehensive 360° retail marketing campaigns across mass-market, specialist, and e-commerce channels.
    • Define the optimal marketing and media mix for retail campaigns, encompassing in-store communications, e-commerce activations, social commerce initiatives, and launch events.
    • Manage the complete lifecycle of omnichannel marketing initiatives that support key entertainment titles.
    • Oversee and strategically manage the retail marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation and a strong return on investment.
    • Collaborate closely with licensees to implement retail-specific campaigns and seamlessly integrate partner activities into broader marketing strategies.
    • Cultivate robust relationships with retailers, licensees, agencies, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of campaigns.
    • Apply your expertise in retail strategies and consumer trends to develop innovative yet commercially viable marketing solutions.
    • Drive consumer engagement and boost sales through diverse digital marketing activities, including social media campaigns, influencer partnerships, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), display advertising, sponsored products initiatives, and custom content creation.
    • Champion the overarching retail marketing strategy, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and best practices.
    • Partner with creative agencies and internal teams to conceptualize and develop compelling marketing concepts and assets.
    • Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

    • A minimum of 8 years of marketing experience within one or more of the following sectors: consumer products, licensing, retail, partnerships, or entertainment.
    • Profound understanding of the Spanish retail market, including mass-market, specialist, and e-commerce retailers.
    • Demonstrated experience working with major retailers within the Spanish market.
    • Excellent knowledge of the licensing landscape and current retail and consumer trends.
    • Broad marketing expertise across various disciplines, including retail marketing, social and digital marketing, in-store marketing, influencer marketing, and Public Relations (PR).
    • Strong commercial acumen combined with exceptional creative judgment.
    • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Comfort working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and agencies.
    • Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and occasionally across the EMEA region.
