About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, adaptable, and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. This is a dynamic position suited for someone eager to learn and excel within a fast-paced, pressurized environment while working on a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the senior commercial team in managing commercial aspects of projects from inception to completion.

Prepare, process, and manage project cost controls, valuations, and variation accounts.
*
Conduct site visits and work closely with site-based teams to monitor project progress and financial status.
*
Assist in procurement, including subcontractor pricing, evaluation, and management.
*
Utilize advanced Excel and computer skills to manage cost reports, spreadsheets, and commercial software.
*
Collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team while demonstrating the independence to manage individual tasks effectively.
Candidate Criteria & Qualifications
*
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
*
Knowledge: Preferably hold some Mechanical or Electrical (M&E) knowledge or relevant project experience.
*
Site Experience: Hands-on experience working directly on construction sites.
*
Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
*
Work Ethic: Willingness to learn, take initiative, and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*
Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously while seamlessly collaborating within a wider project team.
