Must have’s
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance role with a strong understanding of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
* Experience using accounting software and financial system, Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Analytical approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work collaboratively within a small finance team
Nice to have’s
* AAT Level 4 qualification
* Experience supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Knowledge of accruals, prepayments and intercompany reconciliations

* Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
* Managing invoice approvals and nominal ledger coding
* Handling supplier queries and statement reconciliations
* Processing bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assisting with cash flow forecasting
* Managing payment runs through online banking
* Processing accrual and prepayment journals
* Completing intercompany reconciliations
* Supporting month-end, year-end and audit activities
* Monitoring the finance inbox and responding to queries
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
