How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As a Demand Planner in the industrial/manufacturing sector, you'll manage the forecasting and planning of product demand to ensure smooth procurement and supply chain operations. Based in Dewsbury, this role is essential to keeping the supply chain efficient and aligned with market needs.

    Description

    Analyse historical sales, market trends, promotional activity and seasonality to create accurate demand plans.
    Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts across B2C sales channels.
    Collaborate with Ecommerce and Commercial teams to understand upcoming campaigns, product launches and trading events.
    Support inventory and stock planning decisions by providing clear demand insights.
    Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
    Review and refine demand planning processes to improve efficiency.
    Generate regular reports on demand trends and inventory performance.
    Address demand-related issues and provide solutions to stakeholders.
    Use demand planning software to support forecasting activities.Profile

    A successful Demand Planner should have:

    Proven experience in demand planning or a related supply chain role.
    Experience working within a consumer, ecommerce or manufacturing environment.
    Advanced Excel skills and experience working with planning systems, ERP platforms or forecasting tools.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Experience with S&OP and D365.
    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
