Duties
* Sort and separate recyclable materials accurately according to type and quality standards
* Operate machinery and equipment safely, including conveyor belts and compactors, with adherence to safety protocols
* Perform heavy lifting tasks to move bulky recyclables or waste materials efficiently
* Conduct routine inspections of recycling areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
* Assist in the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment used in the recycling process
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
* Support team members in achieving daily operational targets by maintaining a high level of productivity and teamwork
Requirements
* Mechanical knowledge or experience with recycling machinery is highly desirable
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift
* Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
* Strong attention to detail to ensure proper sorting and processing of recyclable materials
