Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the Clitheroe area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, ongoing position on a permanent day shift of 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, offering an excellent work-life balance with no weekend work.
The Role
As a Shot Blaster, you will play a key role in preparing metal components for the next stage of the manufacturing process. Working on the 7:00am – 4:30pm day shift, you will be responsible for ensuring products are cleaned and finished to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
* Operating shot blasting machinery safely and efficiently.
* Preparing metal fabrications and components by removing rust, scale, paint, and other surface contaminants.
* Loading and unloading materials into the shot blasting machine.
* Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
* Carrying out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
* Following production schedules to meet daily targets.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Adhering to all company health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Shot Blaster or within a similar manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
* A good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing setting.
* Forklift experience is beneficial but not essential.
