Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Location: Morpeth
Pay Rate: £15.25 per hour (Paid weekly)
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday (Flexibility required across Earlies: 06:00 - 14:00 | Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 | Nights: 22:00 - 06:00)Key Responsibilities
Operate powered industrial trucks safely to load and unload materials and deliveries, moving them to and from storage areas.
Locate and move pallets of stock, loading trucks efficiently for client delivery.
Store pallets and unload incoming full goods into the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) warehouse.
Report any stock or vehicle damage immediately to maintain high operational standards.
Maintain accurate records to ensure tight inventory control and warehouse security.
Perform manual handling tasks when required, such as rebuilding damaged pallets.
Work safely, methodically, and in a timely manner to achieve set productivity targets.
Keep work areas clean, neat, and orderly to maintain a safe environment.Requirements & Qualifications
Essential: An in-date Forklift (FLT) Licence/Certification and proven hands-on FLT experience.
Essential: Full eligibility to work in the UK.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Work Ethic: High attention to detail, process-driven, methodical, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with a continuous improvement mindset and team-player attitude.
