Pipefitter- Milton Keynes

Pipefitter / Brazer Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £38,000 (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Weekly Rotation – 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00
Overtime: 1.5x Monday-Friday | 2x Saturday & Sunday
Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
Install and assemble pipework systems on rolling stock in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Carry out brazing of copper and associated pipework to a high standard.
Install and connect pneumatic, hydraulic and cooling pipework systems.
Measure, cut, bend and prepare pipework to the required tolerances.
Fit valves, brackets, supports and associated pipework components.
Carry out pressure and leak testing where required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and work instructions.
Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical and production teams to achieve build targets.
Ensure all work is completed in line with quality standards and health & safety procedures.
Identify and report any defects or non-conformances.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Pipefitter, Brazer, Mechanical Fitter or Assembly Technician.
Experience carrying out copper brazing within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience installing pneumatic, hydraulic or cooling pipework systems.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
A minimum Level 2 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety and quality.
