The Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering company that delivers expert HVAC commissioning, water treatment and technical services across the commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial and mission-critical sectors.
The Role
Plan and deliver HVAC commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to project handover.
Commission HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, ventilation systems, heat recovery units and associated plant.
Carry out inspections, functional testing and performance verification.
Verify Building Management System (BMS) operation and control sequences.
Liaise with TAB specialists and project teams to resolve commissioning issues.
Produce commissioning documentation and support client demonstrations and project handovers.
About You
Degree, HND, NVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or similar.
Minimum three years' experience within HVAC commissioning or mechanical building services.
Strong knowledge of chilled water, heating water, ventilation, air conditioning and hydronic systems.
Experience commissioning Building Management Systems (BMS).
Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs and control philosophies.
Experience and Qualifications
CSA Grade 3 (or equivalent), CSCS/ECS Card, SSSTS or SMSTS, First Aid at Work.
Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, cleanrooms, industrial or data centre environments.
Ideally based in the Midlands
Knowledge of water treatment and closed-system water quality.
