Looking for a stable night shift role?We are currently recruiting Night Shift Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced distribution centre in Avonmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking to secure long-term employment with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team.
Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity whether you have previous warehouse experience or are looking to build a career in logistics.
The Role
As a Night Shift Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
* Picking and packing customer orders accurately
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Scanning and sorting parcels
* Working within both chilled and ambient warehouse areas
* Using a pump truck to move pallets when required
* Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Following all health and safety procedures
Working Environment This role involves working in both:
* Chilled warehouse: 2°C to 8°C
* Ambient warehouse: 15°C to 25°C
Please note: Due to the chilled environment, suitable warm clothing is recommended. Safety footwear is essential.

The successful candidate will be:
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
* Able to stand and work for the majority of the shift
* Comfortable working in both chilled and ambient environments
* Able to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment
* A team player with a positive attitude
Essential Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
* Able to pass a criminal record check
Desirable
* Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience
* Basic computer skills, as additional training may be provided on warehouse systems, increasing opportunities for a permanent position
