The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products using a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and safely within a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble components and products using hand tools and power tools according to specifications.
* Operate machinery and equipment safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that tools and materials are stored correctly.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
* Assist in the training of new staff as required.
Duties:
* Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble components accurately
* Work efficiently in a warehouse setting to meet production goals
* Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure quality standards
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Collaborate with team members to complete tasks effectively
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
Skills:
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
* Prior experience in a warehouse or assembly role preferred
* Strong ability to assemble products accurately and efficiently
* Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
* Attention to detail and precision in work tasks
Hours and Pay:
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (4pm finishes on Fridays)
* £13.45 per hour
* Weekly pay via agency!
