Talent Agri is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected animal nutrition business for an experienced Monogastric Animal Feed Sales Representative.

You will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with pig and poultry producers, providing nutritional advice, and driving feed sales across your designated territory.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities throughout your region.

Working closely with farmers and producers, you will provide tailored nutritional solutions, technical support, and excellent customer service to help maximise livestock performance and business success.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and grow animal feed sales across your designated territory.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with pig and poultry producers.

* Identify and secure new business opportunities.

* Provide technical advice on monogastric nutrition and feeding programmes.

* Promote the company's range of feed products and nutritional solutions.

* Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.

* Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

* Work closely with the nutrition and technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

* Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.

* Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.

* Represent the business professionally at customer visits, industry events and agricultural shows.

Candidate Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Agriculture, Animal Management, Animal Science, Agriculture Business Management, or a related agricultural discipline.

* Previous experience in agricultural sales, animal nutrition, or the livestock industry.

* Good knowledge of monogastric livestock production, particularly pigs and/or poultry.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own sales territory.

* Full UK driving licence.
