How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title Area Integration Engineer – Electrical

    Summary We’re recruiting an experienced Area Integration Engineer with an electrical background to support one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. This role focuses on managing construction sequencing and integration of electrical systems, ensuring coordinated delivery across multiple work packages. It’s a great opportunity for someone who brings technical expertise and thrives in a collaborative environment.

    Salary £68,000 per annum

    Client Overview Our client is a major organisation delivering complex engineering and construction initiatives that will play a vital role in shaping future infrastructure.

    Responsibilities
    Review construction schedules, sequences, and material availability to assess project readiness.
    Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Delivery, and Commissioning teams to maintain alignment.
    Develop and review construction sequences for electrical systems across designated areas.
    Identify and assist in resolving schedule constraints, resource availability issues, and interface challenges.
    Support resolution of delivery “hotspots” and promote best-for-project outcomes.
    Oversee Delivery Work Pack (DWP) and Interface Data Sheet (IDS) processes for coordination.
    Utilise tools such as P6, Navisworks, Synchro, Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office to analyse and share project data, always prioritising safety, quality, and schedule adherence.Must-have Requirements
    Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (10+ years in electrical project environments).
    Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering complex engineering or construction projects.
    Expertise in project planning and integration, including P6 scheduling, Navisworks 3D model interrogation, and advanced Excel.
    Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Nice-to-have Skills
    Experience with Synchro and Power BI.
