We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading UK Facilities Management provider, supporting a large and complex estate in Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional engineering team, delivering high-quality maintenance services across a busy operational environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance.
ā” What you'll be doing:
š§ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of electrical systems
āļø Diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime
š” Maintaining lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control systems and associated electrical infrastructure
š ļø Supporting small electrical installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
š Completing maintenance documentation and compliance records accurately
𦺠Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation, statutory compliance and company procedures
š¤ Working closely with a multi-skilled engineering team to deliver an efficient maintenance service
šØ Responding promptly to electrical breakdowns while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
š·āāļø What we're looking for:
š¹ Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, Building Services or a similar maintenance environment
š¹ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
š¹ Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and electrical maintenance skills
š¹ Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance
š¹ Good understanding of electrical compliance, safe systems of work and industry regulations
š¹ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team
š¹ Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
ā Desirable:
ā Experience working within public sector environments or large, complex estates
ā Experience supporting critical building services infrastructure
ā Knowledge of CAFM or maintenance management systems
