How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    As a Paediatric Clinical Lead, you'll take ownership of a diverse clinical caseload, working autonomously while being supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.     About the Company
    You'll be joining a specialist provider of complex community care, delivering nurse-led, person-centred support to children and young people with a wide range of complex clinical needs. The organisation is recognised for its commitment to clinical excellence, high-quality outcomes, and empowering its teams to deliver exceptional care where it matters most.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments.
    • As the Paediatric Clinical Lead, provide clinical leadership through supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for Registered Nurses and care teams.
    • Drive clinical governance by completing medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of care.
    • Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary professionals while delivering specialist clinical training and providing emergency clinical support when required.

    About You
    • Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration and experience suitable for a Paediatric Clinical Lead role.
    • Minimum two years' experience managing complex care packages, including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, or acquired brain injuries.
    • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Somerset and Worcestershire.
