How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Michael Page are looking to recruit an Interim FM Procurement Manager in The City of London to work with a growing client within the professional services industry. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations by managing supplier relationships and procurement processes.

    Our Client are a well established but growing professional services organisation who are based in The City of London & have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join their busy procurement team on a Fixed Term Contract basis!

    Description

    As Interim FM Procurement Manager, you will be working in a small procurement team & report into the Senior Procurement Manager.

    Duties will include, however, not be limited to:

    Manage the full end to end procurement process for the whole FM category, taking ownership of the category.
    Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business needs.
    Analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
    Negotiate contracts to achieve value for money and mitigate risks.
    Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
    Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
    Provide regular updates and reports to senior stakeholders.Profile

    A successful Interim FM Procurement Manager should have:

    Experience in procurement with the FM category.
    Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
