Electrician

Astute's Power Team is partnering with a growing ICP within the EV infrastructure industry to recruit an Electrician covering London and the surrounding areas.

The Electrician role comes with a salary of up to £45,000 basic doe, bonus, pension and other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties of the Electrician role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:

Install EV charging stations in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
Follow work instructions, electrical designs, cable calculations, and manufacturer installation guides to ensure compliant, high quality installations.
Liaise with the EV Qualified Supervisor and provide updates relating to ongoing installation work.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and ensure safe working practices at all times.
Work to site specific Programmes of Work.
Complete NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates using the NICEIC online portal on a tablet device.
Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and any remedial actions.
Prepare and submit reports on work performed, including issues encountered and resolutions applied.

Professional qualifications

NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification or Approved Apprenticeship

1-3 Years of Commercial/Industrial Experience

C&G BS7671: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations?

Full UK Driving License

JIB/CSCS Gold Card

Personal skills

The Electrical Supervisor role would suit someone who has:

Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
