Continental Shift Pattern: Up to the low £40,000s including shift allowance
Annual bonus up to 10% + excellent benefitsA leading manufacturer in Kidlington is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their production team.

NEW: We are now offering two working patterns to suit different lifestyles:

Monday-Friday days (around 08:00-17:00, with some flexibility)
Continental shifts (4 Days On / 4 Days Off / 4 Nights On / 4 Nights Off)We also offer up to £2,000 relocation support (receipted expenses) for candidates relocating to the area.

Injection Moulding Setter Responsibilities

Carry out mould changes and machine changeovers safely and efficiently.
Set and optimise injection moulding machines to achieve quality, cycle time and production targets.
Complete first-off inspections and ensure products meet specification.
Troubleshoot processing and machine issues to minimise downtime.
Prepare machines, tooling and materials for production changeovers.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Ensure machines are clean, safe and production ready for operators.
Support continuous improvement initiatives including SMED, TPM, process optimisation and automation.
Carry out weekly equipment checks and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
Work safely at all times whilst maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping.

Injection Moulding Setter Requirements

Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter is essential.
Experience setting and processing injection moulding machines.
Injection moulding qualifications are desirable.
Crane, slinging and/or PPT experience would be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Continental Shift Option

Total earnings up to the low £40,000s, including shift allowance
4 Days On / 4 Days Off / 4 Nights On / 4 Days Off
Shift times: 07:00-19:00 (Days) and 19:00-07:00 (Nights)
Attendance bonus of £195 every two months (up to £1,170 per year, pro rata)
Discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%
Up to 5% matched pension contribution
