Driver Hire Twickenham and Heathrow is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV (Category C+E) Drivers for a leading supplier of specialist industrial-scale metal products near Basingstoke.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking to secure a permanent Class 1 driving job with excellent pay, guaranteed hours, weekday working and no manual loading or unloading.
The Role
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you'll complete 1–3 trunking runs per day, delivering specialist metal products to commercial premises and industrial sites.
All loads are pre-loaded, and deliveries are unloaded by forklift at the destination, meaning no handballing or heavy lifting is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete 1–3 trunking deliveries per shift
* Deliver goods safely and on time
* Secure loads using straps
* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
* Follow Driver Hours, Tachograph and Road Transport regulations
What We're Looking For
* 2 years Class 1 driving experience
* Ability to strap and secure loads safely
* Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
