General Manager

FORE! is a brand-new premium indoor golf and social venue combining state-of-the-art TrackMan golf simulators, a stylish cocktail bar, artisan pizzas, live sport and an unforgettable customer experience.

We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our venue from launch and help build one of the best golf entertainment venues in the UK.

This isn't just another hospitality management role. We're looking for someone who thrives on creating incredible experiences, leading high-performing teams and treating the business as if it were their own. We are keen to hear from applicants who have a passion for the game, but this is not essential.

The Role

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service while delivering excellent financial performance.

You will recruit, train and inspire your team, oversee food and beverage operations, manage staffing and rotas, maintain high standards throughout the venue and drive sales through events, leagues and local partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate the entire venue team.

* Deliver exceptional customer service every day.

* Recruit, train and develop bar and floor staff.

* Manage labour costs, rotas and payroll.

* Oversee food and beverage operations.

* Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety.

* Monitor stock, ordering and supplier relationships.

* Deliver agreed sales and profit targets.

* Analyse KPIs and produce weekly performance reports.

* Resolve customer issues professionally.

* Organise leagues, corporate events and private bookings.

* Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety and health & safety legislation.

* Work closely with the owners to continually improve the business.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

* Previous experience managing a busy hospitality venue.

* Outstanding leadership and communication skills.

* Strong commercial awareness.

* Excellent organisational ability.

* Experience managing labour, stock and costs.

* Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

* Ability to remain calm under pressure.

* High personal standards and attention to detail.

* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Desirable

* Personal Licence Holder.

* Experience within premium bars, golf venues or leisure entertainment.

* Experience launching or opening a new venue.

* Knowledge of golf is beneficial but not essential.
