We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client based in Oswestry who are looking to add a Production / Finishing Operative to their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous production, manufacturing, engineering or finishing experience who is looking for a long-term role with a stable and reputable company.
The Role
As a Production / Finishing Operative, you will be involved in various stages of the manufacturing and finishing process, ensuring products are completed to a high standard and ready for dispatch.
Duties will include:
* Carrying out general production and finishing duties
* Preparing and finishing components
* Inspecting products for quality and ensuring they meet required standards
* Using hand tools and production equipment
* Following manufacturing processes and instructions
* Working to production targets and deadlines
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Working as part of a wider production team
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous production, manufacturing or finishing experience
* Engineering or industrial experience would be advantageous
* Good attention to detail
* A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
* Good attendance and timekeeping
* The ability to work well within a team
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills
