This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced careers professional to shape and lead a high-quality, trust-wide careers programme predominantly across two secondary schools and some work with their associated primary schools. You'll play a key strategic role in ensuring every young person has access to outstanding careers education, information, advice and guidance, helping them make informed choices and achieve positive future destinations.
Salary: Band H SCP 25–28 (£31,554–£33,975 actual)
Contract: Full Time, Term Time plus 1 week (including examination results days)
Location: Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust (Wirral)
About the role as careers lead, you will:
Lead and develop the Trust's careers strategy across all schools.
Deliver impartial careers guidance and targeted support for students, including those who are vulnerable or at risk of disengagement.
Coordinate careers events, employer engagement, work experience and university visits.
Ensure compliance with Gatsby Benchmarks, Provider Access Legislation and statutory careers guidance.
Build strong partnerships with employers, further and higher education providers, and external agencies to enhance opportunities for students.About you we're looking for someone who:
Has experience delivering high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance.
Holds, or is working towards, a recognised Careers Guidance qualification (Level 6 desirable).
Has excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Is passionate about raising aspirations and improving outcomes for young people.
