We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Healthcare Assistant to join our specialist team supporting a wonderful 15-year-old boy with complex healthcare needs in his family home in Sudbury.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant who enjoys providing high-quality overnight care while building meaningful relationships with the children and families they support. Your role will be to help him remain safe, comfortable and settled throughout the night, giving his family the reassurance that he's receiving exceptional care.
He is a happy, affectionate young boy with a fun-loving personality who enjoys music, sensory lights, spending time outdoors and watching his favourite television programmes. He especially loves spending time with his brother, and we're looking for a Healthcare Assistant who will provide calm, compassionate support while encouraging a positive and nurturing environment.
Working as part of his dedicated care team, you'll provide overnight support including personal care, medication administration, moving and handling and specialist clinical care as required. Full client-specific training will be provided by our experienced in-house nursing team, ensuring you have the confidence and skills to deliver safe, person-centred care tailored to his individual needs.
This role would suit someone who is patient, attentive and reliable, with the ability to recognise changes in his condition and respond calmly and professionally. Every shift offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while helping him enjoy the highest possible quality of life at home.
What You'll Need
* Minimum 3 months' paid UK care experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Confidence with medication administration, personal care and moving & handling
* Strong communication skills
* A caring, patient and reliable approach
* Willingness to complete specialist clinical training
* Right to work in the UK
