The Role - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 6 pupil with SEMH, providing tailored support to help them engage with lessons, manage behaviour and make progress both academically and socially. You will collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to manage challenges positively and provide effective support for this child to improve their behaviour throughout the school day. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and resilient about supporting children with SEN. Previous experience supporting children with SEN, especially SEMH is essential.
