We are looking for a talented and motivated chef to join our friendly team at a unique theatre and events venue set in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. Combining live performances, hospitality, dining, and special events, this is an exciting opportunity to work in an inspiring environment where no two days are the same.
Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality food for restaurant guests and visitors attending a variety of on-site events and functions.

About the Role
The venue offers pre-show dining alongside bar food and caters for a range of events across the year.
You'll support the delivery of a carefully curated two-course menu and hot bar snacks, serving up to 70 covers per service across lunchtime and evening performances, as well as assisting with hospitality for private events and functions.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and presenting food to a consistently high standard
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of kitchen operations
Maintaining excellent food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety standards
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and supplier management
Supervising and supporting kitchen team members in the Head Chef's absence
Supporting the delivery of event catering and hospitality services
Contributing ideas to enhance menus and guest experience
Helping create memorable experiences for guests through quality food and service
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about producing fresh, high-quality food
Experienced in a busy commercial kitchen environment
Organised, reliable, and able to work calmly under pressure
A positive team player with strong communication skills
Confident supervising others when required
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Holder of a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification
In possession of a full UK driving licence
