We are seeking a confident and pragmatic Employee Relations Advisor to join a busy HR team, reporting directly to the Employee Relations Manager. You'll provide expert advice and guidance across a wide range of employee relations matters, helping managers confidently navigate complex people issues while ensuring employment legislation and best practice are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Employee Relations Manager, supporting the delivery of the organisation's employee relations strategy
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, capability and flexible working
- Manage a varied employee relations caseload from initial enquiry through to resolution, ensuring cases are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Coach and support managers to build confidence in managing employee issues and applying HR policies
- Attend formal meetings where required, advising on process and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes and best practice
- Analyse employee relations trends and produce reports and management information to support informed decision-making
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an excellent people service and drive continuous improvement
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in an Employee Relations Advisor or HR Advisor role with significant employee relations case management
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage multiple cases effectively
- A proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is desirable
