How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor to join a highly regarded architecture practice on an immediate-start temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position.

Supporting an experienced People & Operations professional, you'll play a key role in the implementation of HiBob while providing generalist HR support across a business of 150 employees spanning seven UK offices, with approximately 70 employees based in the London studio.

Based in beautifully designed offices with a private outdoor courtyard, you'll enjoy a collaborative and creative studio environment with a hybrid working pattern and working hours of 9:30am–6:00pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to make an impact within a design-led business during an exciting period of change.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the implementation and transition to the HiBob HRIS, including data migration, testing and process mapping.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity throughout the system transition.
    • Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the business.
    • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding and contract administration.
    • Assist with recruitment coordination and hiring processes.
    • Support the review and updating of HR processes, policies and documentation.
    • Produce HR reports and analyse people data to support decision-making.
    • Coordinate employee communications and training relating to the HiBob rollout.
    • Work with stakeholders to identify process improvements and support the adoption of new HR workflows.
    • Provide general HR administration and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

    Requirements

    • Previous HR experience within an architecture, design or creative practice.
    • Experience supporting or implementing HR systems (HiBob experience desirable).
    • Strong HR advisory experience, providing guidance and support to managers across the employee lifecycle.
    • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and hiring processes.
    • Ability to support organisational and cultural change within a growing business.
    • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
