We’re looking for a proactive and experienced HR Assistant or Advisor to deliver a comprehensive, generalist HR service across a dynamic multi-site organisation. This role partners closely with managers and employees, providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice across the full employee lifecycle.
You’ll play a key role in supporting operational teams, ensuring consistent HR practices, and helping drive a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
The Role
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide HR support across a designated site
- Provide expert HR advice on employee relations, performance, and absence
- Support investigations, meetings, and HR casework
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Manage probation reviews and contractual changes
- Advise on family-friendly policies and employee entitlements
- Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records
- Support HR training initiatives and manager capability
About You
You’ll be a confident and organised HR professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Confident influencing and building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Admin, Assistant, or Advisor role
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (or working towards) – preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload
- Commitment to continuous professional development
This is not a role where you'll be limited to one area of HR. You'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, partner with a range of stakeholders, and be involved in day-to-day operational HR challenges.
