How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are working with a leading international law firm seeking a lawyer with a corporate or finance background to join its Innovation & Change team, supporting the firm’s Financial Services Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fee-earning lawyer looking to move into legal innovation and help develop technology-backed legal services for major clients. Previous innovation experience is welcome but not essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement technology-enabled legal services and client solutions.

    • Work closely with clients, lawyers, technologists and innovation specialists to scope, test and deliver new solutions.
    • Support AI-enabled projects involving due diligence, document review and workflow transformation.
    • Help drive the adoption of legal technology and new ways of working.
    • Contribute to client pitches and proposals involving innovative service offerings.
    • Build strong relationships with partners, lawyers and other stakeholders across the Financial Services Group.

    Key Requirements:

    • Qualified lawyer with 2-8 years fee-earning background in corporate or finance.
    • Genuine interest in legal technology, AI, automation and alternative approaches to legal service delivery.

    • Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
    • Commercial, collaborative and comfortable working across legal and technology teams.
    • Able to identify inefficiencies and translate them into practical solutions.
