The Opportunity
We're recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with logistics or transport planning experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an efficient logistics operation.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and coordinating daily and weekly transport and dispatch schedules.
Managing inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
Optimising transport routes and vehicle utilisation.
Liaising with production, procurement, customers and transport providers.
Monitoring transport costs and logistics KPIs.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensuring compliance with transport and health & safety standards.
About You
Essential:
Previous experience in logistics, transport planning or transport operations within manufacturing.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
Experience using Sage 200 or a similar ERP system.
Desirable:
CPC qualification.
FLT Licence.
