We are looking for an experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join a housing team on a temporary basis, supporting customers and communities across Oxfordshire.
The role will focus on managing complex and ingrained anti-social behaviour, working proactively with customers, internal teams and external partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes and tenancy success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of complex anti-social behaviour cases from investigation through to resolution and enforcement where necessary.
Work closely with customers, internal teams, partner agencies, solicitors and other stakeholders to address ASB effectively.
Prepare and manage legal cases, including notices, court papers and witness statements.
Attend and represent the organisation at court when required.
Address tenancy and lease breaches, non-access, fraud and other tenancy-related issues.
Aim to resolve cases through early intervention and collaborative solutions, using legal enforcement as a last resort.
Maintain accurate and high-quality customer and case management records.
Build positive relationships with customers and local stakeholders while delivering a professional, customer-focused service.
Work collaboratively across teams to address complex customer needs and improve outcomes within local communities.
Ensure all casework complies with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
About You
You will have:
Strong knowledge and practical experience of ASB case management, including complex and entrenched cases.
Experience of legal work and court processes, including preparing notices, court papers and witness statements.
Experience working with external agencies, solicitors and internal teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
A strong track record of delivering excellent customer service and achieving positive customer outcomes.
Knowledge of tenancy, lease and enforcement processes.
The ability to manage a busy caseload, meet deadlines and work independently.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
A professional and collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust with customers and partner organisations.
A full UK driving licence and access to a car, as the role involves extensive travel across Oxfordshire.
