The Role
As a Technical Engineer you would join our Maintenance team in providing a technical support service for all our Generator products. You’ll work with both colleagues and clients and although this role is predominantly office based there will be occasional site visits as required.
Other requirements for the role include though are not limited to:
Technical support to the office, engineers and clients
Monitoring of our Generator fleet using DSE Webnet
Supporting Back Office with Engineer Reports
Back-office support for the Maintenance Coordinators
Ongoing support with product updates and operational meetings with suppliers
Liaising with internal Technical Team for product developments and improvements
OOH Technical support for clients and Engineers (joining our OOH management team)
Back-office support on site audits (to include carrying them out)
Assisting Back Office with compiling Technical quotations for Maintenance & Maintenance Sales Team
Supporting Senior Technical Engineer and Manager with Engineer training & development
Supporting Senior Technical Engineer and Manager with Engineer Quality Control
Warranty/After Sales issue
Compiling RAMS

Experience and Qualifications
Essential
Strong practical engineering knowledge of Generators and UPS
Fuel Tank installation knowledge
3 years of Industry, or similar, experience
Practical knowledge of high-level software based control systems such as Comap/Deep Sea etc.
IT skills, fluent with Microsoft Office. Practical experience of using laptop based bespoke engine system analysis and control programmes such as Comap PC Suite/DSE Configuration Suite etc
Experience in multi set and synch with mains controls
PLC programming skills
