Working alongside the Site Agent and Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Set out and oversee construction works in accordance with design drawings and specifications.
* Ensure all works are carried out safely, to programme and within quality requirements.
* Produce and maintain accurate site records, surveys and as-built drawings.
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on site.
* Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Assist with planning site activities, resource allocation and short-term programmes.
* Raise and manage RFIs, technical queries and design issues.
* Monitor project progress and report to the Site Agent and Project Manager.
* Ensure all health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained.
* Support temporary works coordination and permit systems where required.
* Liaise with designers, client representatives and the wider project team to resolve engineering challenges.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects.
* Experience delivering water or wastewater projects is highly desirable.
* Good understanding of setting out using GPS, Total Station and surveying equipment.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and quality procedures.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* CSCS Card (essential).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Experience working under NEC contracts.
* SMSTS or SSSTS.
* Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor.
* EUSR Water Hygiene.
* Experience working on AMP frameworks

£35000.00 - £40000.00 per year
