We are recruiting Residential Support Workers for a therapeutic, trauma-informed children's home supporting young people aged 15-16 years.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established service that provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where young people can recover from trauma, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support young people with their daily routines, education, emotional wellbeing and personal development while promoting stability, safety and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day care and support to young people
Build positive and trusting relationships
Support education, activities and appointments
Promote independence and life skills
Maintain accurate records and safeguarding practices
Work alongside families and external professionals
Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs, including ADHD
Requirements
Experience working with children and young people
Understanding of trauma-informed practice
Team Teach training desirable
Full UK Driving Licence desirable
Flexible to work a mixture of shifts, including weekends and waking nights
