Job remit – To cover the out of hours on-call in the evenings and at the weekend. Responsibilities include rota management, call handling, dealing with new enquiries, supporting nurses and carers with clinical advice and general support.
Requirements –
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
* Thorough knowledge of the CQC guidelines
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Dedication, compassion and energy
* Reliable, dependable and a team player who is willing to help others
* The ability to show initiative and to have a positive, can-do attitude
* A solid understanding of the UK Healthcare sector
* Previous management experience or willingness to develop management skills
* Excellent computer skills (desirable)
* Experience in private healthcare (desirable)
Responsibilities –
* To assist in the day-to-day running of the organisation outside of office hours, ie. after 6pm and during the weekend.
* To manage all aspects of the rotas.
* To remotely assess and monitor clients.
* To decide, in conjunction with senior management, whether the business can meet the nursing or care needs of any prospective client.
* To investigate complaints, take appropriate action and report these to the Management team.
* To safeguard clients from abuse and act immediately to report any suspected abuse, following the organisation’s policies and procedures.
* To support the Management team to maintain CQC registration.
* To contribute towards business expansion and development.
* To engage in positive working relationships with the wider MDT in the best interests of the clients.
* To ensure that clients’ privacy, dignity, choice, independence and safety are actively promoted at all times.
* To support and advise junior office staff when they are working alongside the Clinical Services Manager On-Call.
* To effectively utilise electronic systems
