🕕 Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm
🚗 Driving Licence: Essential due to the location of the site
⚡ Immediate Start – Monday 10th

We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy recycling centre based in DA11.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring HGV vehicles are weighed accurately and site records are maintained efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Weighing HGV vehicles entering and leaving the recycling centre.

* Recording accurate vehicle weights using the weighbridge system.

* Issuing weighbridge tickets and maintaining accurate documentation.

* Liaising with HGV drivers and site personnel in a professional manner.

* Ensuring all vehicle movements are processed efficiently.

* Responding to telephone calls and general enquiries.

* Completing general administration duties as required.

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with site procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous weighbridge experience is desirable but not essential.

* Previous administration or data entry experience would be advantageous.

* Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy.

* Confident using computers and Microsoft Office.

* Good communication and organisational skills.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Reliable, punctual and proactive.

* Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the location of the site
