Your new role
The bank is looking to bring in a Finance Supervisor to support the Head of Finance within a regulated banking environment. This role plays a key part in the day-to-day running of the Finance function, with responsibility for regulatory reporting, financial control, statutory accounts and tax compliance. The Finance Supervisor will also provide oversight and support across the wider Finance team, contributing to projects and continuous process improvement.

Preparing and submitting Bank of England, PRA and other regulatory returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Producing daily P&L reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls, investigating and resolving accounting and ledger queries where required.
Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual audits, FSCS reporting and wider financial reporting requirements.
Assisting with Corporation Tax and VAT reporting, liaising with external advisers and ensuring accurate submissions to HMRC.
Contributing to finance projects, process improvements and system enhancements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance functionWhat you'll need to succeed

Experience within a Finance function in a banking or regulated financial services environment
Strong knowledge of PRA supervisory returns and Bank of England statistical reporting
Qualified or finalist‑level accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
Strong Excel and general systems capabilityWhat you'll get in return
