OngoingA welcoming and friendly primary school in Hackney is looking for a Midday Meal Supervisor to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to work additional hours in the school's Afterschool Club.
The Role
As a Midday Meal Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring they are safe, engaged, and well supported. The role includes duties both inside the dining hall and outside on the playground, promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an enjoyable lunchtime experience for all children.
There is also the opportunity to extend your working day by supporting the school's Afterschool Club from 3:30pm to 6:00pm, where you will help supervise and engage children in a range of fun and educational activities in a safe and welcoming environment.
The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and authoritative approach to managing children and be confident working as part of a team. Previous experience working in a primary school or childcare setting is desirable, and a good understanding of health and safety within a school environment would be beneficial.
