At our client's organisation, we're on a mission to enhance the efficiency of fulfilment centres that process millions of customer orders daily. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Infrastructure Services team, working hand-in-hand with talented network development engineers, systems engineers, and software engineers. You'll help secure and optimise the technology that supports our fulfilment centres and transportation sites around the globe.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance core infrastructure components.
Drive the development of new fulfilment centres, ensuring they are equipped to handle vast quantities of orders seamlessly.
Automate support processes and document systems for improved operational efficiency.
Contribute to the development of corporate and divisional software projects, enhancing existing systems along the way.What We're Looking For:
Experience: Deep hands-on experience developing in AWS, with a solid understanding of network, cloud, and information systems concepts.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and Java development, coupled with Agile/Scrum experience.
System Design & Architecture: Expertise in design patterns, reliability, and scalability for both new and existing systems.
Networking & Systems Engineering: Familiarity with networking, storage systems, operating systems (UNIX/Linux), and practical systems engineering.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with excellent organisational skills and the capability to work independently under pressure.Why Join Us?
