This is an exciting opportunity to join a major UK industrial employer as an Internal Recruiter, playing a key role in attracting and securing talent across operational, engineering, technical and professional functions.
You'll manage a varied and high-volume portfolio of vacancies, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver recruitment campaigns while providing an excellent candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the full recruitment life cycle from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding
Partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and develop recruitment strategies
Writing and advertising engaging job adverts across multiple platforms
Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates
Managing high-volume recruitment campaigns and specialist hiring projects
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
Advising managers on market conditions, talent availability and attraction challenges
Supporting employer branding and candidate attraction initiatives
Working with recruitment partners, local communities and careers events to strengthen talent pipelines
Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Maintaining compliance with recruitment legislation, data protection and company policies
Tracking recruitment activity and using data to improve hiring outcomes
Contributing to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practicesAbout You
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have:
Previous in-house or agency recruitment experience
Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities
Exposure to technical, engineering, manufacturing, operational or industrial recruitment environments
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment systems
Strong sourcing and attraction skills, including digital recruitment methods
A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience
