Stock and Pricing Analyst Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Stock Reconciliations for multiple locations
Preparatory work for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 audits
Month End processes reconcile stock lines against ledger postings
Make commercial recommendations regarding pricing based on information available
Coordinate fuel supply from terminals and refineries to depots and end customers utilising all contract and spot purchase options to maximise savings
Work closely with transport teams and third party hauliers to manager delivery schedules and resolve logistic issues
Producing Management Information reports as required
Provide cover for Billing Specialist role as and when required
Manage pricing sheets including monitoring orders placed against available stock
Risk Management - Identify potential risks and opportunities within the stock position. Produce a reporting mechanism and ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities maximised by forward buying, hedging and discounting or adding to purchase price
Contract Management - Ensure supply contracts are being utilised in line with contract terms and variances are identified and reported to senior management
Stock reconciliations - Reconciling book to physical stock daily and problem solve when they do not match
Procurement - Ensure all buying is done economically by managing contracts and spot opportunities efficiently
Supplier Relationship Management - Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with supply partners through regular communication and optimizing processes to ensure suppliers meet performance, quality and cost standards
PL Reconciliation - Deal with Purchase Ledger queries ensure ledger is clean and all accruals and pre payments are recorded for the management accounts
Internal checking/auditing - Periodically check supplier documentation ensure approved supplier's lists are maintained in accordance with ISO standards
ISO 9001/14001/45001 - Ensure company is fully compliant with IS0 9001/14001/45001 standards, perform internal audits and manage external audit

High level of numeracy accuracy, high level of detail, ability to work in fast paced environment and prioritise work-load accordingly, adaptability, self-motivation, problem solving
Highly numerate & analytical able to evaluate costs
Commercially minded ability to think on their feet and propose multiple solutions to problems and pivot depending on the situation
Phlegmatic ability to remain calm in a pressurised environment
Negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Qualifications & Experience:
CIPS Level 3 or above/AAT level 4 or above or equivalent professional qualification is desirable
Experience in a supply/stock management role is preferable but not essential
