We're looking for caring and reliable Female Healthcare Assistants to provide dedicated 1:1 overnight support to a cheerful 6-year-old boy in his family home on a farm.
This is a truly rewarding opportunity to support a young boy with complex care needs who has a bright personality and loves interactive play, exploring the outdoors, learning through hands-on experiences, spending time with animals, tractor rides, and attending pony club activities with his family.
As part of his dedicated care team, you'll provide person-centred overnight care, support his clinical needs, ensure his comfort and safety throughout the night, and help him continue to thrive in a loving home environment.
Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant-
✔ Provide dedicated 1:1 overnight care in the family home
✔ Monitor and support clinical care needs throughout the night
✔ Deliver personal care with dignity and respect
✔ Promote comfort, safety and wellbeing
✔ Support daily routines and encourage independence
✔ Build a positive relationship with the child and his family
✔ Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the wider care team
What You'll Need
✔ Minimum 3 months' paid care experience within the UK
✔ Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable
✔ A caring, patient and compassionate approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Willingness to complete specialist clinical training provided by Apollo Home Healthcare
✔ Full UK driving licence
✔ Comfortable working around animals, as the family live on a farm
